University Uticaria Centre was opened on 9^th October under the auspices of  GLOBAL ALLERGY AND ASTHMA EUROPEAN NETWORK (GA²LEN- Network of Excellence)

The opening ceremony was conducted by Małgorzata Zabrocka MD, PhD, Medical Affairs Director of Central Teaching Hospital,  Marcin Kurowski MD, PhD, Lodz Voivodship Consultant in Allergology, and  Prof. Anna Zalewska-Janowska, co-organiser of the Centre.

Congratulations were offered by i.a. Vice-Governor dr Karol Młynarczyk, MUL Rectors: Prof.  Radzisław Kordek and Prof. Paweł Górski and Clinical Hospital Directors: Prof. Piotr Kuna and  dr Wiesław Chudzik.

Prof. Anna Zalewska-Janowska, Head of the Department of Psychodermatology and prof. Marek L. Kowalski, Head of the Clinic of Immunology, Rheumatology and Allergology are the co-organisers and coordinators of the Centre.

University Uticarai Centre is located in Central Teaching Hospital of Medical University of Lodz, at 251 Pomorska Str., building C5, with its registration desk at Allergology and Immunology Outpatient Clinic. The Centre has signed the contract for provision of healthcare with National Health Fund (NFZ) and admits patients with a referral to allergology and/or immunology outpatient clinics.
