Centre for Medical Education invites you to the training course on teaching methodology in biomedical disciplines ESME Online – Essential Skills in Medical Education. The course is organised by International Association for Medical Education (AMEE).

ATTENTION:  The course completion is tantamount to obtaining the certificate in teaching methodology in biomedical sciences (FaDevPro).

ESME Online course is aimed at academic teachers both those new to teaching and the ones with years of experience who would like an update on current best practice and who wish to hone their teaching skills.

All the course classes and tasks are in English but support in Polish can be provided.

The course is composed of six 2-week participatory modules and it combines practice with clear theoretical underpinning.  The classes involve forum presentations, participation in surveys during live webinars, the use of materials on teaching methodology and self-analysis of the academic practice.

On completing the course, the trainee will have the following competences:

• modern curriculum planning,
• description of planned teaching effects,
• support for students in effective learning process,
• assessment according to top world standards.
