The 2024 Edition of the Global list by the Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR) was announced. The Medical University of Lodz was ranked in the top 4,8% of the world best universities and scientific institutions. 

20,966 institutions worldwide were ranked and those that were placed at the top made the Global 2000 list. As it was the case in last year’s edition, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University topped this year’s list. 

The ranking included 41 Polish universities and research institutes and the top three included  consecutively: Jagiellonian University, University of Warsaw, and AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. 

The Medical University of Lodz was ranked 3 in the list of medical universities in Poland and 11 in national ranking. 

Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR) is a prestigious consulting organisation with its official seat in the United Arab Emirates and it publishes annual rankings based on reliable methodology which includes seven indices in four major groups:  

the quality of education (25%) 

employability of a university’s alumni (25%) 

quality of faculty (10%). 

and research (40%)
