Authorities
The University is led by the Rector. Together with the Vice-Rectors and Chancellors, he governs MUL’s administration and finances, makes key decisions, represents the University externally. Both the Rector and the Vice-Rectors are elected for a period of four years, with the opportunity to stand for re-election once.
The university senate determines the rules by which the university is to be governed, establishes graduation requirements, chooses the fields and direction of scientific research, and also makes decisions on the university’s development, services, financial and investment plans, and course regulations. The senate is chaired by the Rector.
