The Russian invasion of Ukraine has forced millions of people to leave their country, seeking refuge in various places far from home. European countries hosting them are striving to meet their needs, but the extent of their success remains unknown. One of the most fundamental needs is access to healthcare. Therefore, European scientists, united in the international ENABLE scientific collaboration, have decided to conduct a research study to assess the actual level of healthcare provision for Ukrainian refugees. This study, named RefuHealthAccess Europe, is coordinated by a team of scientists from Poland, Hungary, Turkey, Sweden and Ukraine. Poland is represented in this study by Medical University of Lodz, whose Ethics Committee has approved the research.
