We are glad to inform you that Paulina Gorzelak-Pabiś MD PhD from the Department of Internal Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology Medical University of Lodz headed by Prof. Marlena Boncel MD PhD, was awarded in Best Case Report Contest at 6th McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine – MIRCIM 2021. The distinction is all the more significant because out of 85 clinical cases submitted at the Conference from 23 countries, the case ‘Severe hypodysfibrinogenemia in a young patient with pulmonary thromboembolism: a case report’ by Paulina Gorzelak-Pabiś was the only one to have received two awards: the 3rd place in Best Case Report Contest and European Journal of Case Reports in Internal Medicine award.
