FUNDS FOR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF LODZ FROM POLISH NATIONAL AGENCY FOR ACADEMIC EXCHANGE
Medical University of Lodz obtained funds from Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange within the international call for Bilateral Exchange of Scientists from the Republic of Poland and People’s Republic of China, whose aim is to support the mobility of researchers engaged in the projects agreed and conducted jointly by partners from Poland and China.
The joint project involves the identification of the role a newly-discovered ion channel TRPM7 plays in the development of epilepsy. Within its framework, the researchers from the Department of Molecular Neurochemistry will complete scientific internships at the Medical University in Shenyang in China, whereas the Medical University of Lodz will host the scientists from the partner country.
