PROF. FENDLER RECEIVES NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE 2020 AWARD
National Science Center’s awards were handed in on October 6, 2021 in Cracow. The awards were received by both last year’s and this’s year’s winners, including Prof. Wojciech Fendler.
Prof. Fendler was distinguished for last year’s significant achievements in research on microRNA as biomarkers of accidental exposure to ionizing radiation and complications of radiotherapy.
National Science Center’s award distinguishes young researchers and is awarded for outstanding achievements in basic research conducted in Poland. It has been awarded since 2013 in three fields: humanities, social sciences and art, life sciences, and science and technology.
